Your most asked questions
Orders and Payments
CAN I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, cancellations or changes are not possible. Once you place your order, we begin production right away to ensure we meet the quoted lead time.
CAN I RUSH MY ORDER?
We generally require the full production time stated on each product page. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. All orders require a minimum of 2 weeks for production. Please note that requests involving more complex designs, certified stones, or fancy cut stones are unlikely to be expedited, as these require time to source and select.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES TINXX ACCEPT?
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shopify Payments.
ARE DUTIES AND TAXES INCLUDED IN THE PRICES LISTED?
Duties and taxes are not included in the prices listed. Instead, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout. Your order will arrive Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so there are no additional fees on arrival.
As we are based in Hong Kong, prices shown outside Hong Kong may be higher to reflect international handling and delivery costs.
ARE PRICES ON TINXX SUBJECT TO CHANGE?
Yes, prices on tinxx may be subject to change. Due to fluctuating market conditions, such as gold and diamond prices, we may occasionally adjust our prices to reflect these changes. The price listed at the time of your purchase is the final price you will be charged.
IS IT SAFE TO ORDER ON TINXX?
Absolutely. Shopping on tinxxjewelry.com is safe and secure. Our checkout is powered by Shopify, and we guarantee that every order will be processed and fulfilled with care. You'll receive an order confirmation, tracking details, and customer support is always here to help you with any questions you have.
DOES TINXX OFFER FINANCING OR PAYMENT PLANS?
Not yet, but we’re working on it! As we grow, we plan to offer financing and payment plans in the future. Stay tuned.
HOW IS YOUR PRICING DETERMINED?
We understand that lab grown diamond pricing can vary widely; you may come across lower prices, or sometimes much higher. At tinxx, we take a fair approach. Our pricing reflects not just the materials, but the care, expertise, and thought that go into every piece.
We use 18K solid gold, not vermeil, and not 14K or 10K. With its higher gold content, 18K offers a richer finish and also comes at a higher cost than the lower karat weights commonly used in commercial fine jewelry. We source all raw materials ourselves, hand-selecting stones for their cut, clarity, color, and overall quality. Each piece is made to order with care and supported by decades of trusted industry experience.
From our jewelry to our packaging to our customer support, every detail matters. We apply a fair, consistent markup that allows us to maintain uncompromising quality, with every piece reflecting the time, skill, and care involved.
We also provide complimentary shipping worldwide. International orders are shipped via DHL Express from Hong Kong with insurance. As shipping is costly, our pricing outside Hong Kong may be slightly higher.
As a small business, kindly understand that we’re not yet able to offer free returns or exchanges for sizing. Please double-check your measurements before placing your order, and feel free to reach out if you need help, we’re always happy to assist.
DO YOU OFFER MORE SIZES THAN WHAT'S LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Due to the high variance in gold and diamond usage across sizes, we list a limited selection on our website. However, if you’re interested in a different size, please contact us for a tailored quotation.
Shipping , Delivery, and Returns
WHAT ARE THE TINXX SHIPPING FEES AND DELIVERY TIMES?
Shipping is included on all orders. We ship worldwide with DHL Express. Delivery takes 2-3 business days after your order leaves our studio, though customs or remote locations may add extra time. A tracking link will be sent to your email once your order is dispatched.
CAN I TRACK MY ONLINE ORDER?
Yes, once your order has been shipped, you'll receive an email with tracking details.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
Once you place your order, we immediately begin crafting your piece. This includes:
- Sourcing stones

- Production
- Quality control
Each product page lists its estimated production time, typically several weeks. While we work as efficiently as possible, please plan for the full stated timeframe. If ever we need additional time (rare, but possible), we’ll notify you personally via email.
Once complete, your order ships directly from our studio, and you’ll receive a tracking notification. We appreciate your trust—every piece is made with care, never rushed.
Your shipping confirmation email will provide the tracking details.
As we require a direct signature for all deliveries, if the tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered, please verify if someone else at your address has signed for it or if it was left with a neighbor.
If you haven't received your parcel and no delivery attempt notification has been left, we recommend contacting DHL directly for assistance. They will be able to provide you with more information on the whereabouts of your package. Please have your order number and tracking number ready when reaching out to them.

Engraving and Personalization
DO YOU OFFER ENGRAVING?
Yes, we offer engraving on most of our products. If engraving is available, you will have the option to enter your personalization on the product page, subject to the stated character limits.
CAN I MAKE THE ENGRAVING LONGER?
The character limits shown on each product are what have worked best in the past for legibility and finish. If you’re keen to go longer, please contact us and we’ll check what’s possible for your specific piece. Some designs are simply too small to accommodate more characters. Share what you have in mind, and we’ll advise on feasibility and alternatives.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE FONT FOR ENGRAVING?
We use a clean, standard sans serif font for all engravings. At this time, we are not able to offer font customization, but if you have a specific request, please reach out and we’ll do our best to see what’s possible.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ENGRAVING ON MY ORDER?
If you need to make any changes to the engraving on your order, please contact us within 48 hours of your purchase.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ENGRAVING AFTER THE ORDER HAS ARRIVED?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to the engraving after your order has arrived. As each piece is custom-made to order, we recommend double-checking the engraving details before confirming your purchase.

Gold
WHAT GOLD COLORS DOES TINXX OFFER?
We offer our designs in 18K white, yellow, and rose gold, so you can choose the finish that best suits your skin tone and personal style. Whether you lean toward the cool elegance of white gold, the warmth of yellow gold, or the soft, romantic tone of rose gold, each piece is crafted from solid 18K gold for rich color, lasting durability, and a luxurious feel.
IS YELLOW, WHITE, AND ROSE GOLD THE SAME PRICE?
Yes. all tinxx pieces are crafted from 18K solid gold, which means they contain 75% pure gold, regardless of the color. The remaining 25% is made up of alloy metals that give each gold its unique tone:
- Yellow gold blends pure gold with silver and a small amount of copper, keeping a warm, natural gold hue.
- White gold mixes gold with palladium or nickel, then is typically rhodium-plated for a bright white finish.
- Rose gold combines gold with a higher percentage of copper, giving it a soft pink tone.
Because the gold content is exactly the same in all three, pricing does not vary. The difference is purely in color and personal preference, not in value.
WHY DOES TINXX USE 18K GOLD INSTEAD OF PLATINUM, 24K, OR OTHER GOLD TYPES?
At tinxx, we craft all our jewelry in 18K gold because it offers the perfect balance of beauty, durability, comfort, and timeless luxury. Here’s how it compares to other metals:
18K Gold vs. Platinum
- Color & Radiance: 18K gold has a warm, luminous glow—whether in yellow, white, or rose—that reflects light beautifully and flatters the skin. Platinum has a cooler, grayish-white tone and a softer, more muted shine.
- Weight: Platinum is denser and heavier, which can feel bulky for everyday wear. 18K gold is lighter and more comfortable to wear across rings, earrings, and bracelets.
- Finish Over Time: Platinum is highly durable but scratches visibly and develops a patina—a matte finish that dulls its initial shine. 18K gold can easily be polished back to brilliance, keeping its luxurious glow for years.
- Feel: Platinum is often perceived as exclusive due to its rarity, but 18K gold offers a more vibrant look with greater comfort—and is the gold standard for fine jewelry worldwide.
18K Gold vs. 24K Gold
- Purity: 24K is pure gold (100%) and naturally radiant—but also very soft and prone to bending, scratching, and wearing down. It’s rarely used in fine jewelry that’s meant to last.
- Durability: 18K gold blends 75% pure gold with 25% strengthening metals to create a piece that is both beautiful and wearable.
- Practicality: 18K gold offers the richness of high-purity gold with the strength needed for everyday wear, making it the ideal balance of elegance and functionality.
18K Gold vs. Lower-Karat Gold (14K, 10K)
- Color & Shine: The higher gold content in 18K creates a deeper, more radiant tone than 14K or 10K, which can appear more muted or brassy.
- Luxury Feel: 18K gold has a smoother, more refined feel—what you see and touch is closer to pure gold.
- Skin Sensitivity: Lower-karat gold contains a higher percentage of alloy metals, which can sometimes irritate sensitive skin. 18K gold is gentler and more hypoallergenic.
- Prestige: 14K and 10K are commonly used in mass-market jewelry. 18K is the standard for luxury pieces crafted to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
